Thank you for choosing to have vocal lessons with Perfect Pitch Vocal. I’m delighted to work with you and look forward to supporting you throughout your vocal journey.
Online Lessons
Lessons are delivered online and may take place via WhatsApp Video or another mutually agreed platform, such as FaceTime or Microsoft Teams. Please provide the best contact details for your lessons.
To get the most from your session, please ensure you have a reliable internet connection, an appropriate device for the video call and, where possible, a separate device for playing backing tracks or music.
Lesson Fees & Payment
Payment is required in advance and should normally be received at least 24 hours before each scheduled lesson to reserve your session.
I recommend regular weekly lessons wherever possible, as consistency can help you make steady progress and develop your voice with confidence.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson, please let me know as soon as possible and, wherever possible, with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full lesson fee because the lesson time has been reserved for you and it may not be possible to offer the time to another student at short notice. Where appropriate, exceptional circumstances may be considered individually.
Lateness
If a student arrives late for a scheduled lesson, the lesson will still finish at the original agreed end time. Any time missed because of lateness is forfeited and cannot be added to the end of the session or carried over to another lesson, as the allocated lesson time has been reserved specifically for that student.
If I Need to Cancel
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or rearrange a lesson, I will give as much notice as possible and offer an alternative lesson time. If a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, the relevant payment will be refunded or credited towards a future lesson.
Preparing for Your Lessons
For your first lesson, please have one or two songs prepared that you enjoy singing. These can be from any genre.
- Have water nearby to stay hydrated.
- Avoid eating chocolate immediately before singing, if possible.
- Choose a comfortable space where you feel able to sing freely.
- Where possible, use a separate device for playing YouTube or other backing tracks during the lesson.
Students Under 18
For students under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for booking lessons and agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. A parent or guardian should provide appropriate contact details and ensure that the student has a suitable and safe environment for their online lesson.
Communication and safeguarding arrangements for younger students may be agreed with the parent or guardian where appropriate.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
